Alien Worlds To Present Galactic Hubs Hero Awards on June 3rd — Voting Open

Season 1 of the TLMMYS Virtual Ceremony in the Metaverse

The Hero Awards were developed to honor Alien Worlds leaders who are making significant contributions to their communities through their time, actions, talents, and dedication. Honorees have been selected to serve as role models who strive to make the community a better place. These individuals have gone the extra mile, guide the community or are a source of inspiration.

Galactic Hubs aims to recognize and acknowledge the Alien Worlds community for notable achievements since the launch of this unique metaverse. Categories include Most Helpful, Best Enterprise, and Best Service. Winners will receive 5,000 Trilium and a unique 1 of 1 NFT, with a bespoke, personalized design. Category winners have made exemplary contributions that increase engagement, drive participation, and contribute to the overall positive health of our community.

Ghubs Awards – Categories Table

Nomination approaches and processes differed among categories. The goal was to remain fair, transparent, and objective in determining nominations. Galactic Hubs aims to further decentralize the nomination process in future seasons, but at this stage, a core team led decisions, in the interest of identifying candidates in a timely fashion.

Most Helpful: Level 3, Stardust ranked Guardians award winners from May 27th’s ceremony automatically become candidates for the Most Helpful category.

Best Enterprise, Best Service: In the case of the Best Enterprise and Best Service categories, we sourced nominations from Dacoco (creators of games in the Alien Worlds Metaverse) staff and polled team members most involved with communities to consider the work from their regions and groups. Staff participation in annual nominations is a great way to validate key community milestones, innovations and ecosystem commoradary.

The winner for each category will be dictated by the results of community on chain votes held over a 48-hour period beginning now, ending June 1st, 2022.

Start voting here In true decentralized fashion, Galactic Hubs decided to conduct community votes on-chain using Consortium (gHubs Grant applicant), a web-app that enables WAX-based communities to use their community tokens to create polls and vote with them. Consortium offers two key advantages over non-blockchain voting services; First, voters must hold Trilium (TLM) , therefore increasing the likelihood of votes coming from active members. Secondly, votes cost a small fee in order to prevent spam.

How to vote

  1. Visit this link
  2. Login to your WAX cloud or Anchor wallet
  3. View poll
  4. Click the answer you wish to vote for (by default your voting power will equal the number of tokens)
  5. Click ‘Vote’ (you can only vote once on each poll). You will see a confirmation that you have Successfully Voted!
  6. Check your vote at wax.bloks.io/account/youraccountnamehere and scroll down to view your transactions.

This user transferred the fee to vote, and their vote for “option: 1” was registered on on blockchain.

Note: If you have errors voting, make sure you have TLM to vote and enough WAX resources (CPU, NET, RAM.) If the balance does not load, “CHANGE ENDPOINT.”

If you have any difficulties using Consortium vote get support at Consortium Telegram
