Last Season we unveiled a number of surprises relating to the Outpost, including a new name for the points that Explorers can accumulate through mining activities and from other facets of the Alien Worlds Metaverse, such as participating in daily quests in MineQuest: Shards. We also revealed the new mechanism by which these shards can be utilized to create new NFTs - Fusion - a complex process by which Shards are aligned to a special matrix and energized until they fuse together into the final NFT.
The crowning achievement of last Season however was the release of our new Emergence series, starting with a set of new Tools that were met with an enormous amount of excitement by the mining community. Since their release over two thousand of these new Tools have been fused by Explorers eager to test them out and theorycraft new mining rigs!
It has been fantastic to see such uptake but no doubt many Explorers have now depleted their Shard supplies, so this Season we’re going to give everyone a chance to rebuild and focus solely on offering more insights into the background of some of our NFTs: specifically Avatars. There will of course still be a broad selection of NFTs available for fusion, with a focus on supplying Explorers with Avatars, Minions & Weapons to utilize in the Battledome and other areas of the Metaverse.
