Naron Proposals

Fresh off the success of the first Metaversal Treasure Hunt, Naron recently contributed 20,000 Trilium to the prize pool of the second Metaversal treasure hunt. Explorers had from August 1st to 15th to find the daily item that was posted to social media channels across the Alien Worlds metaverse. To participate, explorers had to take a picture of the item and include their Telegram handle and the date on a piece of paper within the photo, so that the Treasure Hunt staff could verify and log entries. To stay up to date with future Treasure Hunt announcements, join the group on Telegram.

SU 11 – Community Spotlight

Community Spotlight

This edition's Community Spotlight features an interview with Red. A long-time member of the Alien Worlds community, lore lover, and creator of "Symbiotic Citadels - Ashes of the Orders."

Red, thanks for your time, would you be kind enough to tell readers how you discovered Alien Worlds?

“It was a long long time ago, in this very galaxy we call WAX. I was on the hunt... for what exactly I cannot recall, this is the nature of a hunt is it not? Looking for something but not really knowing what it is.

Well, you see, this hunt was not the traditional hunt, it was not for sustenance, but rather for answers, answers as to how big the metaversal galaxy is, this is when it happened, when I discovered Alien Worlds, hopping from project to planet, I fell into a hole, dug by no one else than an Alien Worlds miner, hit my head on a shovel, started digging and now I am here.”

What inspired you to run for Planetary Council?

“Change... The ability to steer change, the possibility of being part of change. Also... I mean, come on, who doesn't wanna tell their mates they are working "off-planet", or that they are on an intergalactic planetary council that manages a planet? I was inspired by inspiration itself, which, as a custodian can become creation and not just remain inspiration.

What would you say to anyone thinking about running for a Council position? Keep at it, make your stand, make your campaign clear & keep at it. It doesn't happen overnight and you need to be very very sure of your stand & contribution.”

Would you be kind enough to fill the community in on the game you are creating called the Citadels?

"Que holy grail music/angelic choirs/Demonic Cacophonies Citadels - 2D a top-down, twin-stick, shooter.

Explorers are set to survive the hordes within the halls of Citadels & Strongholds across the planets, having to clear each level of these locations to survive and claim the trophy for their planet & people.

A game reminiscent of titles like Crimsonland, 20 Minutes till Dawn and the like, explorers & players alike will be able to collect bonuses and boosts, tokens & treasures whilst doing their darndest to stay alive and not be overwhelmed by the hordes.”

Is there anything you would like to share with the Alien Worlds community and please share a link to your socials.

“I would like to send out a heartfelt thank you, to everyone that has supported me on this journey, everyone that has voted for me and also a deep well of gratitude to the teams behind it all at both AW & Dacoco. Without your dedication and determination we, us brave explorers would truly be lost in space.”
