Veles recently completed a pilot program aimed at sparking creativity and innovation within the Alien Worlds ecosystem through a "Create a Bluepaper" contest. With a budget of 150,000 Trilium, this initiative supports the creation and publication of bluepapers, encouraging contributions from the community, Friends of the IPF, and other supporters. Kavian's Custodians have recently ratified two significant proposals to support and improve the Kavian.World Minquest server, a popular Minecraft-based platform where players embark on daily quests. The first proposal, Kavian.World Shards bug fixes, aims to integrate a Shards reward mechanism specifically for Kavian.World rewards. While the basic mechanics are in place, additional development is needed to fully support the points reward option and address identified bugs in the external questing setup.

The second proposal, Kavian.World server upgrade, addresses the need for enhanced server performance. With player activity increasing and performance dipping with more than 10+ players online, the proposal outlines a move to a more robust hosting service to ensure smooth gameplay. This upgrade involves increasing the operational hosting capacity and adding static IP services for easier access, necessitating additional funds to support these improvements.

Naron’s Custodians recently approved support for Galactic Troopers, an upcoming web game that integrates Alien Worlds NFTs from crew.worlds (including mercenaries and grey scientists) and arms.worlds (featuring Swords, Cudgels, and more) to determine your combat strength and strategy. Engage in battles against alien monsters across various Alien Worlds planets to earn scores. Each week, players can win a share of the prize pot, with winnings proportional to their scores. Though the game is single-player, there’s a competitive edge as higher scores secure a larger portion of the prize. This new game is set to enhance the utility and value of Alien Worlds NFTs, with an expected launch by the end of February. The proposal for Galactic Troopers comes from Alfred @ecreditcoin on Telegram, on behalf of the @galactic123 Telegram group.

Eyeke's custodians recently allocated 10,000 Trilium for Q1 support of Eyekelogs, divided into hosting, maintenance, and contributions to the Journalist Guild. Eyekelogs offer spaces for community members to share insights and narratives, fostering engagement and collaboration within the Alien Worlds ecosystem. Neri and Kavian custodians have jointly allocated 100,000 Trilium for the La Ruche Community Project, aiming to boost player engagement, especially among French-speaking players. This initiative will provide new players with initial mining tools, helping to enhance their gaming experience and encourage long-term participation in Alien Worlds. By supporting the French-speaking community, La Ruche aims to increase inclusivity and retention within the game. Magor continues to support four projects, including the recently released Starblind comic, integrating the Alien Worlds universe with Galactic Hubs grant recipient LightningWorks and the new Tokenized Lore model. Additional backing goes to Arms Worlds, Planetary Defense, and NFT Panda. With a total allocation of 119,000 Trilium, Magor earmarks 15% for future creative projects.

Mission Control recently introduced 'Outpost Builder', a new on-chain, building-centric game integrated with Alien Worlds. This game allows players to use their Alien Worlds NFTs to construct outposts and collect resources, offering a fresh way to earn MC Points. The Outpost Builder game revolves around efficient resource management, strategic building upgrades, and optimizing resource exchanges at the Spaceport.

Launching its alpha season on February 2nd, the game features the ‘Exploder’, a manual resource collector, and various production buildings that players can enhance using their Alien Worlds NFTs. The competitive element lies in maximizing resource gathering to climb the season leaderboard and earn rewards.
