Tell us something about yourself. How did you get into the Alien Worlds lore?
"I’ve been fascinated by world building since I read a book at a very young age about a friggin lion singing, yes singing, a world into being, the furrball used his words to create an entire existence! So I was sold, Words + Imagination = Magic. I was introduced to the Alien Worlds Lore through the Kavian Lore Pilot program. The program was initiated by custodians Adam & Max, two of the Grand Founding members of the IPF (Interplanetary Federation). That was where I got a chance to craft stories for the character Atomic Adam. The final chapter of that adventure is: GALACTIC LORE — Atomic Adam."
Could you tell us about your writing journey? What inspires you to write stories related to alien worlds, and what is your favorite species/race from tokenized lore? And why?
"I wrote my very first short story almost exactly 20 years ago, since I have written numerous pieces in many different fields and spaces. Having always been drawn to strange, obscure and fantastical naturally fantasy & sci-fi have been close to my heart & bleeding from my pen, so to speak.
Finding motivation or inspiration for Alien Worlds stories is probably one of the easiest things, thanks to the vibrant community, expansive metaverse and rather dramatic DAO’s. There are stories floating around everywhere, in all the various social channels and communities. Each member or player is a character, every time they mine there is a journey they need to take and challenges they face.
I definitely identify the most with the Lopati and their nomadic nature, the longing for a home that no longer exists. I am excited to explore them more, see how they relate to the other races and which planets they are most warmly welcomed on."
What excites you about the Tokenized Lore? And what are the advantages you see in the Alien Worlds community from Tokenized Lore?
"Witnessing the beginnings of something potentially so massive and being given the opportunity to take part in the creation of it is absolutely next level! Being able to have your own creations become part of the foundations of something global and intergalactic is definitely the most exciting part for me.
I believe the lore will give players & creators something to enjoy beyond the everyday activities of mining. It will foster a greater sense of belonging and purpose, I can see clans, tribes, councils & all other kinds of collectives forming, working together to create their stories. I think it might be the missing link between Community & Builders, DAO & Miners. It gives everyone the chance to take ownership of the metaverse to the next level."
Why is Lore important to you and the community?
"Lore to me is the heartbeat of any project or game, without lore or story it doesn’t have meaning, it doesn’t have history, it doesn’t have emotion, it doesn’t have the things that make the human heart and mind light up. Lore gives something substance; it makes it more than just code or money. It is important for the community because it gives people from different backgrounds a place and reason to come together."
How do you think Tokenized Lore is going to influence the community?
"It will give them a greater sense of character and help them identify more with developing the story, their own story, helping them see their place beyond mining. As players start choosing their races, or making their own, they will want that character to mean something, they will want it to progress. I think this, Tokenized Lore, is the first step of that, it gives players something tangible."
