Big things are coming to Alien Worlds! We’re thrilled to announce the launch of the Union DAOs, and to celebrate, we’re hosting a staking contest that will help activate these new DAOs while rewarding explorers who stake their Trilium.

The six Union DAOs represent the planets Eyeke, Kavian, Magor, Veles, Neri & Naron and are an answer to calls from frontier Explorers for more opportunities to collaborate freely with the planetary communities. For the first time non-Custodian Explorers have the capacity to create their own proposals - a robust addition to the Custodian proposal system that has already helped to fund numerous successful projects. This is a new cooperative evolution of the Planetary Syndicates, with proposals being funded by supplies of Trilium recently located in deposits scattered throughout a deep space comet swarm. A large contingent of Robotron miners - the only ones capable of withstanding both the voyage and the incredibly extreme environment - has been deployed for this hazardous ongoing mission to secure the Trilium for use by the Union DAOs.

In order to help fuel this deep space mission and to demonstrate the resolve of Explorers in pursuing this new worker-centered approach to funding proposals, the Federation has increased the staked Trilium requirements for each of the Planets. This represents an opportunity for Explorers far and wide to unite, using Trilium as their voice in favor of the Worker Proposal system. These DAOs will officially unlock once the Trilium staking target is reached. By staking, you’ll not only help activate the DAOs but also earn a share of 50,000 Trilium in rewards based on your contribution. Please see the below graphic for the staking targets.

How It Works

To unlock each Union DAO, players must stake Trilium to the respective Union DAO. The contest is structured to reward you according to how much TLM you stake:

• Stake 500 Trilium or more and receive an equal share of the base pool when the 15 million Trilium staking target is reached (Each planet activated).
• Stake 1,000 Trilium or more and, in addition to the base pool, earn a share from the Tier 1 pool, which unlocks at 20 million Trilium staked (Planet own % of 20M has been met).
• Stake 2,000 Trilium or more and gain access to the Tier 2 pool, which activates once 25 million Trilium is staked to the planets (Planet own % of 25M has been met).

Each planet has its own reward pool, with 50,000 Trilium in total to be distributed across the DAOs. The breakdown is as follows:

• Base Pool: For all players who stake at least 500 Trilium, this pool is divided equally among eligible participants.
• Tier 1 Pool: Unlocks at 20 million Trilium staked (Planet own %), and is available to those staking 1,000 TLM or more.
• Tier 2 Pool: Unlocks at 25 million Trilium staked (Planet own %), and is available to those staking 2,000 Trilium or more.
